35 weeks--Baby Showers!

This photo is Nicole and I; the twins are 23 weeks and I am at 34 weeks. I was honored at a work baby shower and a grand shower hosted by friends. I am overwhelmed by everyone's generosity and feeling very well-loved.

32 weeks

I am 32 weeks today and finally getting around to posting some more pictures. My belly is growing much faster now, so I hope to share belly pics more frequently until I have actual baby pictures to share. This picture of me was taken last week. The other pictures are what the nursery looks like so far. As you can see, it is very girly. Jamie got me the rocking chair for our 5 year wedding anniversary. He did a great job on the closet organizer, with lots of space for the baby's little things. The image over the crib is an abstract cherry blossom decal and grandma's crocheted blanket is on the crib ready to use. I made the pillows for a storage bench that will go under the double window (don't worry, they won't stay in the crib).

20 week ultrasound

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and are proud to announce we are having a little girl! She is active, looking healthy, and appears to be on track for her May 31st arrival date. The new ultrasound technology is so fascinating; I don't think I blinked during the entire hour. The technician was not able to get very clear 3D pictures because baby did not want to take her hand off her face, but these pictures are still nothing short of amazing, or at least mommy thinks so.
